Try out your muralist skills on your local sidewalk. With some simple ingredients and lots of creativity, you can transform your drab cement squares into scintillating works of homemade art.
Here's a recipe for homemade sidewalk paint.
1/2 c corn starch
1/2 c water
food coloring (we found you need a LOT to make the colors vibrant when dry)
Mix ingredients until smooth and dissolved. Then break out your jumbo paint brushes and go to town!
The color brightens and solidifies when it dries. The best part? It washes off easily with water.

ooo! That is a very cool idea. I like it a lot. a lot a lot. Maybe sometime I should paint the driveway before dave comes home and make him think i'm crazier than he already thinks! :) OOo, seriously. Now i'm going to do it!
How fun! This reminds me that I have a bunch of recipes for homemade gak, silly putty, playdough, etc. I will have to make some of those things soon.
Fun idea!!!
