"Mess, Mommy!" said the tiny girl.
"Horrible mess." I said "Horrible."
"Howwible. Yeah. Mmm-hmm. Bad choice."
"Very." I said soberly. "Please don't do this again,"
"Okay, Mommy. I weew."

Oh, goodness, they just make it impossible to be mad.
She sounds so cute! Messes like that are no fun though. :)
If that is the biggest mess your kids make....count yourself VERY lucky! My kids rooms look like that year round and I finally gave in and told them all that their rooms are their space so if they want to live like that fine. Surprisingly 3 of the 4 bedrooms have been staying pretty clean because I am no longer nagging.
At least you don't have bags of dumped cereal and Costco sized canisters of powdered lemonade mixed in with the clothes. :)
Too precious! I hope she jumped in that delicious pile of messiness before you cleaned up. It reminds me of how much fun my kids had playing in the mound of crumpled newspapers from when we moved and were unpacking.
At least they're cute enough to make it worth it, right? I hope that it's all cleaned up by the time you read this and that you have an excellent birthday with your family today!
